2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.

What I'm curious about, what if one already has a bank of say ~2900 min/text expiring January 2026 then adds 1 year unlimited talk/text on June 2025. That extends service to January 2027 but when does the unlimited talk/text take into effect? June 2025-January 2027? June 2025-June 2026? January 2026-January 2027?

Now that I think about it, what you describe is how the 30 day unlimited plans work when added to PAYG plans. Unlimited takes effect right away with PAYG resuming after the unlimited expires.
