Yes. Since it's Android. What you do is create a minor (<13 yrs old) Google account. Then add that account to your Google Family. Then login to that account when setting up this phone. From there you can manage screentime length and schedules, plus block or allow different apps. As long as you stick with Google Chrome as the only browser on the phone you can set what websites are allowed and the maturity level of search results. Some other Google apps also allow you to set maturity level allowed.

It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.

I've done the following several times without issue. Usually the chat portion is completed within 30 minutes. You won't have to do much more than provide validation that you're in possession of both phones (they'll send a text to each phone at points during the chat) and keep the conversation open (basically respond after each time they chat to you even if it's just "ok" to their "please continue to hold").

1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
5. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.

Hello, I'd like to move the data, minutes, text, and remaining days FROM my line TO my line .

currently has ### minutes, ### messages, #.# GB data, ### days left which I'd like added to my line which currently has ### minutes, #### messages, #.# GB data, ## days left.

My account email address is:

The end result should be minutes, messages, GB data, days left.

I activated the first phone today with a new phone number and have an unlock date of 04-03-25. I created a new Tracfone account and everything is showing up ok. I want to move the Service from the un-activated second phone to this phone. I have spent a couple of hours updating this phone and transferring Apps, email accounts and deleting junk apps so I don't want to do that all again with the second phone once I activate it. Its also been updated to Android 13.
Is there a way to move the service from the second phone once I activate it to this phone that is already activated and is setup the way I want it? I would think I don't even have to take the second phone out of the box cause I have the IMEI number on the outside of the box. Can I do this online with self serve option or is this where I need to chat with a TF agent? Would it be easier if I had one of those "transfer" sim kits I read about in this thread?

Follow this DIY Guide [reddit.com] to transfer the service from 1st phone to 2nd. Wait a day or two, you can follow the guide again to transfer everything back to the 1st phone. You'll need to turn on the 2nd phone and log in, so you can receive a text verification code on the 2nd phone. The service on the 2nd phone is also tied to IMEI/SIM so BYOD SIM kit doesn't work for what you wanted to do. (Even you contacted TF Support, they would need to send a verification code too.)

Follow the DIY Guide [reddit.com] to move current service and phone # to this deal, wait 1-2 days then do it again to move everything back to your original phone (potential issue if your current phone is not TF-branded. You may need a BYOD SIM kit if TF doesn't let you re-use your current SIM.)

I just created an account and when I enter NEWYEAR15 it says "code expired"? Is it expired or is there a new one?

So I need to active this phone and use this phone for 1-2 days, then move back to my old phone. Without removing the sim card from this phone, it should unlock by itself after 60 days?

Can you keep one phone and activate it later? I have a plan expiring in June and would like to keep one for then to move that number to Tracfone. Will it work?
Yes I think you can. Whenever you start you plan you will get 12 month from that day.

I'm curious about all the subscription bloat ware that comes on the QVC phones. Does QVC automatically enroll your credit card in all these plans, or are they a non-issue if you never activate them?

They don't come on the phone. They are vouchers that come with the purchase of the phone. You can choose to ignore them as you like.

Yes! After you activated the new phone, text UNLOCK to 611611 (sometimes twice) to check the unlock date, then follow the DIY Guide again to move everything back to your old phone.
