It takes some configuring, but I've had good experiences with using Google Family to manage my kids devices.
1. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your permanent phone.
2. Activate your "donor" phone on the same account.
3. Go to the web to find the current minutes, messages, data, and days remaining on your new, donor phone.
4. Go to support.tracfone.com and scroll down to and click "Chat with Support".
5. Populate the message template below with details of your donor phone and permanent phone and share with the CSR.

I used the $20 coupon before I learned that there was also a $30 coupon. So I canceled my order myself planning to reorder with the larger coupon. But when I tried I got the error that the $30 coupon wasn't valid. And then I tried the $20 coupon again and that wouldn't work either.
I then opened a chat with customer service wondering why I couldn't use either coupon. She explained that they were single use coupons that couldn't be reused even if I was the one to cancel the order. She then went into my account and manually credited me $20 on the order still in my shopping cart. It doesn't mention any coupon. It just shows a $20 credit. So there's nothing to get flagged later about me not being a new customer. I got a shipping confirmation so it might not work for everyone but it worked for me.
It seems like gift cards work currently, but as with all things Tracfone, it may not work 61 days from now. For example, I never received my gift cards from Nov when the gift cards program first rolled out, and Tracfone refuses to refund my reward points.
I use these for cameras at my corporate rentals. Guests can access cameras and see what is going on.WiFi only. I keep the SIM for my kids - or a burner phone.
I do want to unlock some of these I purchased in the past. Anyone know how?
