I wouldn't do this and have the tradein rejected. Would be better to go and tradein in store.

You have to request to unlock by calling or chatting them. It won't unlock automatically.

I am seeing a trade in value of 546 + 700 = 1246 for pixel 9 pro xl. Got it from spectrum in a promo pricing of 599. If i get a s25 plus and tradein 9 pro xl and pay it in full, will i get the credit of 1246 back to my account after tradein is complete?

Yes, exactly. Though see previous pages for new fine print about credits over time. Do it in store and it should be good

I traded S9plus to S24 then after a week I traded that s24 to S24 ultra. Got the it unlocked after 2 months.

Traded pixel8pro to S24plus before the promo ends then got it unlocked after 2 months.
