You have to request the phone to be unlocked before cancel the service.
You pay for it monthly

I assume it works. And if it's the comment I remember seeing, it said the IMEI got rejected

Hasn't been my experience with the QVC ones. And I just used actual IMEI too. They came in yesterday

Obviously all down to how it goes in store. And it's a week from now.
