For those pre-ordered online, have you received the trade-in email yet?
I remember last year for S24, an email with subject "We're ready to receive your device for Trade-In" right after the order is placed.
However, this time I still do not get the email after a few days, even the order was confirmed.
Is this normal?

Yeah I placed my order the day the deal went up. The charge actually went through on my card today but no shipping confirmation yet.

I have not received the assurant email yet but if I remember correctly it comes shortly after the phone ships.

I also received an "Order Confirmation" email today. The email only summarized the charges but did include any info about the trade-in, I recall in the past, they will show the trade-in credit in the confirmation. Could you also check what is in your order confirmation email?

No trade in info in my order confirmation email that I received today. But I can see the trade in info, including the credit amount (700 + 320), when I look at the order in my spectrum account (in app or on the website)

I've been with Spectrum over 10yrs. I've had a few issues. Probably only been down 5 times and one time it was down a day or two. I think when we got really high winds. For those that do have issues some say Spectrum has got better in the last yr.

There is $50 restocking fees to return the phone, if this preorder trade in email never arrives. In past it was instant and now it's just missing.

i have spectrum internet and i never used spectrum mobile. I do see an offer now that 1 mobile line is free for an year.. Do i need to enable this mobile line to combine with samsung galaxy S25 offer ?

You should receive the email after the phone is shipped.

If you click view terms on s25 page under trade in, you get this:

Trade-in offer requires customers to trade in qualifying device, purchase and activate a new device. Trade-in device must have a value greater than $0. If the value of the trade-in device credit exceeds the cost of the new device, credit will be reflected on bill statement within 2-3 bill cycles. Promotional credits are reflected over 36 mos on the bill statement. Cancellation of mobile line before device is paid off will result in forfeiture of remaining promotional credits. What's the bit about 36 months there? It'd appear line before it contradicts it. I'm guessing they're referring to financed vs bought distinction that are in the full terms you posted

My Pixel 9 would *exceed* cost of trade in so especially relevant

How much over? Couldn't you get more if you sell it elsewhere?
