Trade-in offer requires customers to trade in qualifying device, purchase and activate a new device. Trade-in device must have a value greater than $0. If the value of the trade-in device credit exceeds the cost of the new device, credit will be reflected on bill statement within 2-3 bill cycles. Promotional credits are reflected over 36 mos on the bill statement. Cancellation of mobile line before device is paid off will result in forfeiture of remaining promotional credits.
Please read it and then do the trade. Trading you will get it right away but a promotional credit of $700 maybe 36 monthly credits..
Edit: stopped by the store. They couldn't sell even though they have stock. They have to "pre-order"
Online you'll get the entire amount refunded, not over 36 months. 36 months only if you USE INSTALLMENTS.
I've had it confirmed multiple times by store employees and sales rep on phone.

I guess maybe they can wait for you to complete the transfer?? Anyone else have done this?
I just backuped all my data before went in the store and skipped the data transfer part.
EDIT: never mind, this morning Spectrum site says it will accept the Moto Play from Tracfone. I guess it was a temporary glitch.
Do you have to call to do the unlock and will the reps pretty much do it without much cajoling once you reach 60 days?
