The only other thing I could think it could be is the age of the account, but then a SSN and DL shouldn't be needed to disqualify. I could just try doing this stuff online, but definitely wouldn't want to send Assurant an S25 to trade up. That sounds really risky.

I tried 10 pages of searching, but couldn't find it...
For those doing a trade <in-store> and receiving a credit, how long did it take to show up in your account?
Did a Flip5 to S25 trade today that should've netted a $75 credit, but I'm not seeing it posted to my account yet (unless I just don't know where to look).

Hey spgrumby, apologies if this is a stupid question but I want to understand this deal completely, so if you do the trade-in in store then the credit is applied at purchase and you don't have to contact customer service for anything, right? and just wait 2 months for the phone to unlock?

How often are stores restocking these had one store that needs to "preorder" essentially it's just doing the online route

I have been several times to a few stores and they never had a single one in Orlando.

I'm starting to think there is something going on, they might be saving them for friends or family

I feel like some reps just say they don't have em if they think you're doing trade in and may be problem person. I've come across it anyway

I went to 3 stores today in TX. 2 of them did not had S25 or S25+ in stock. One that had S25+ in stock said I can't trade in S25 for S25+ and asked to come after 60 days. BS.

What is the process to unlock the phone after 60 days? When do you deactivate the service? When do you unlock the phone. I am planning to pay in full with trade in. Need some guidance on unlocking the phone.

Any help is appreciated.

On day 61, call or chat to get it unlocked.
Make sure the sim or esim is in the phone for unlocking.
After unlocked, you can call or chat again to cancel the service.
