The block happens in store, regardless of your account/plan type. There is just a limit to how many in store upgrades you can do.

Picked up my first S25 base this morning, activated free line and traded in Moto G Power 2020 for $5 (almost hated to see it go, it was basically brand new, unlocked, and not a single scratch or dent on it, worked perfectly). Anyway, only took about 20 min. or so to get it done. Planning on going back in a couple of days for a trade up to S25+ and hope there's no snags. I'm concerned since several people in this thread have said they've been denied upgrades - I really want the + model due to the extended storage in it. Will report back in a couple of days, meanwhile, monitoring this thread.

Is anyone getting "this device is not eligible" message when trying to add S25 as a trade-in device online? I've tried three different IMEIs and get the same message every time. Any suggestions?

Just restart your browser (or use another). For some reason, it gives that message after trying like 4-5 of them out.
