One free line. Done 3 so far.

One in store Moto -> S25 (the 1st day they were available)
Next day another in store Moto -> S25
Next day online one of those S25 -> S25+

Mailed in the S25 on Thursday the 13th. Arrived yesterday to them. Approval came today. I sent with QR code via UPS at the UPS store.

Once I get the credit back, I'll do another.

Wow nice, I'll try the same

Can I join Spectrum mobile and do this deal? What is the cheapest plan?

Yes, just go in and say you want to add a line, it will be your first one. Then trade in. Cheapest is by the gig for 20 a month

Is anyone still trading the S25 for S25+ in store? Reading here, it looks like some are having issues and some are not. I want to try it tomorrow, hoping for the best. I only have the one year "free" line (which I activated yesterday when I traded in my Moto G Power for the S25). I really don't want to have to open another line to trade this S25 up to the +, so if anyone here has done this in the past couple of days, what was your experience? Should I go to a different store, or it doesn't matter at all? I can tell them the S25 is "too small" as someone suggested, or should I not even mention that this phone is only a day old, and it's from Spectrum? Take out the SIM first and leave the phone on the home page, and say nothing unless they ask? Tell them I have a Spectrum SIM already and just put it in the +, or get a new SIM with the +? Then they'll know for sure that the phone is a Spectrum phone and start asking questions... what to do? Any advice appreciated.

5%. I've done several prior deals. you can use a debit card for the credit refund after the trade in is completed for some free money.
Do you have any recommendations on which bank's debit card should be used to avoid any issues? I want to make sure my bank won't block the refund transaction or close my checking account due to dumb concerns like the fact that they cannot see the original purchase transaction on the account.
Which bank's debit card worked for you in the past without issues?

Does the trade-in promo apply to business mobile too or just residential?

Tell them you're upgrading on your line and trading in s25 because it's too small. Nothing else to mention. The esim will move to that device automatically once traded in. If you've got a real SIM in there, take it out

In all likelihood, if they were going to give you trouble, it'd be for the S25 to S25 plus thing, not because it's on same line or spectrum or anything

And if they do, just go to another store or try another day

Reps are just making up their own rules all high and mighty lately. You're not doing anything you can't do, and should insist politely. If no dice, move on

I used credit cards. They just push it back onto the card. Capital One worked for me

Nevermind, found the answer as it does apply but mail-in only, not at stores.

Anyone who sent trade in using Usps - can you copy your tracking steps once your shipment got to Dallas? Trying to find a data point for what I should be seeing versus the limbo I am seeing on the tracking. Thank you.

He was assuming you at least had read the title of the deal and had spectrum Internet.

Every trade in that involves the USPS has these exact same issues. Did you have a choice of shipping and you actually chose USPS? I've used FedEx and UPS for numerous trade in deals and never had an issue.

Last year the only choice I remember was Usps (had no issues) so that's what I used this year. Didn't trust just handing the phone to a Ups employee having not done it before (wanted to pack it myself).
