I had a question regarding my trade-in process. Initially, I completed the trade in-store as follows:
  • Moto G Play 2023 → S25 → S25+
  • Second line: G Play 2023 → S25 → S25+
However, when I tried to trade the S25+ for the S25 Ultra in-store, the system wouldn't allow me to do so, and I had to complete the trade online instead.
I placed my order yesterday evening, and I've received confirmation that it has been shipped along with a "Ready for Trade-In" email. The delivery is scheduled for Monday.
Could you please confirm if I can ship my trade-in to Assurant using the UPS label provided?
I appreciate your guidance and look forward to your advice.
Thanks in advance!

Online order trade in should following trade in email, there are 3 options to ship it back,
1. QR code to scan at UPS store
2. print prepaid label and send to USPS
3, request shipping material.

Most people use #1 UPS, but there is no other barcode or print out that can accompany the phone, only hand over the phone to UPS store and let them print the label, the UPS guy print a label and set the label aside with the phone on his back table, which made me very skeptical at the time, what if he mixed the label, which if he printed the wrong label etc. I always hoped there was some other identification like a return barcode etc to stick to phone but nothing. All went well for me. I received my credit.

#2 feels must better, it has other barcode show your trade in order #, some other info and prepaid label, you can prepack everything to make sure nothing can go wrong, it may takes a bit longer than UPS route.

I printed out the trade info in #2. Then used #1 method at the UPS store. Quicker shipping time, delivered in 2 days for me.

I used USPS. Phone was to be delivered on Tuesday. Tracking on Tuesday morning said it departed the regional center with no update since. Today I got the trade in confirmed email so all is good but it was a concerning few days.

You can send trade in before receiving the phone. I did it. It took me more than a week to receive the phone due to requiring signature. I missed 4 deliveries, every time I had to step out for 30 minutes, the FedEx guy came, I was so frustrated. For some reason the FedEx delivery window was too wide, only said delivery by 8p.

when I called to get credit, agent said he can not credit the amount without an active line

Did anyone who ordered online not receive a trade in email? If so, what did you do to finally receive it? Contact Assurant or Spectrum? I don't feel like talking to either (and just wished the email came through).

Forgive me if answered already.

Was able to do s25 to 25+ instore yesterday and the receipt shows a refund of $123 to go back to my credit card. Nothing showing on the credit card yet. Thought credits went back to the mobile account. Either way is fine just wondering if it anyone had the refund directly back to the credit card.

Thanks
Just in case this got lost, anyone had the excess credit from a trade in post directly to their credit /debit card or did the credit go to the mobile account?

Thanks

I have 3 lines active...

1 free for 12 months and 2 lines for $20 per GB rate one. upgrade happened on one of the lines and just remove that trade-in phone form the line and get ready for reset to sent for the trade-in.

I selected USPS for shipping. I recorded a video of the phone's condition and the packing process from start to finish. Additionally, I obtained a receipt from USPS when I dropped it off.

Successfully upgraded both S25s to S25+ in store. Thanks for all the info. As someone just commented, about doing the same thing as me with two phones, can you not do more than 4 upgrades on one account?

I did Moto-S25-S25+ for two phones on two lines.

Thanks.

I traded in 2 moto 2023s in store for a s25 and s25+ on 2 new lines. Can I trade in each of those online and upgrade each one on the same line?
