To be fair, the rep at the store was great and think she just got confused by the third trade in. First two were perfect. Was so apologetic and told me to come back in a week and she would fix it the same as customer service does over the phone. She told me she could cancel and redo it on the spot but I'd have to pay the $50 restocking fee and she didn't want me to pay it. I opened a $20 line so she would get credit and when this is settled, will open another one just for her to get more credit. Can use the numbers to port out somewhere else to get cheap phones for trade in next year and hope the same rep is still working there Smilie

I called the billing department the same day. Yeah, because you cancelled the in-store, then trade-in online, so you have to wait for the Assurant credit to your account.

For people who received credit for s25 to s25+ trade up, how long did it take for the credit to show up? Did it on Thursday and wasn't sure how long it normally takes.

I thought I replied to the user, maestro. Anyway we are not talking in the same topic. If you traded in-store, you should get instant credit, why you have to mess with Assurant.

If that is the case, call the billing department again. They should resolve your issue immediately. You should get a credit of at least $95 based on the current trade-in value of $1088 for S25. Since you traded in-store, the device swap is done and you don't have to go through Assurant. Call the billing department again and talk to different agent.

just called and it all worked out. Thanks
While I was dealing with this found out that any credit for upgrading to the s25+ will be credited to your credit card after you call. Doesn't happen automatically. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks , I shipped phone 5 days back , it delivered to Assurant on Friday , no update yet. I am thinking to upgrade to S25+ but feeling little nervous without knowing Assurant status.

So you were able to factory reset the phone without a Sim card? Some said without a Sim car, they could not pass the lock screen.

Sadly here the the stores in So Cal Charge me taxes based on the full phone amount I wish it was based on the new amount left over
