And did your credit get refunded back to your credit card already???
I think it's been lost in this huge discussion: we haven't seen problems with online trade in this year.
I got screwed out of $1000 last year with Moto Razr promo because they said the phone I sent in was different than the one I told them was coming (they said it was a Verizon phone and not the TracFone I sent in). The adjusted value went from $5 to $0 and $0 means no promo credit.
That's the kind of story you've vaguely heard of.
Make sure you tell them specifically which phone is coming and as far as I can tell there haven't been problems with Assurant finding reasons to not give credit.
**IF** your trade in confirmation email from Assurant says the promo credit has been adjusted after they received the phone, just make sure it's not zero and it should be pretty darn close to expected since they already have the info in their system for the phone coming their way.
