I unfortunately already did the deed ordering the trade for S25 to S25 Ultra. Not sure if I should risk seeing if they can change the order or not. It is about 100 dollars on the line since CA taxes hit so hard. I might see if they can change the order in the morning.

Sim card/esim needs to be removed before sending in the trade. Phone should be factory reset.

Thanks! So the S25+ will arrive with eSim linked to the same number on the S25? I have never done an online trade in before, so a bit nervousSmilie. When I did it in store, they did not even care whether there was a sim card on the trade in phone.

Nope. My trade in to Assurant was delivered(to Lewisville, TX) on Friday. Once that gets approved and I get the credit refunded back to my card I'm planning to jump from that s25 to Ultra online, since thats my only option really. I have another phone (moto edge 2024) that I got off the total wireless deal here in SD last June that I'll probably try to trade in store for s25. If that gets around fraud block then I'll trade that online to s25+, but I have my doubts it'll work. I was told by the agents at the last store when they trade in and select the "pay in full" option on their terminal, that's what triggers the fraud block.

Have anyone tried 2 upgrades in one trip? for example upgrade from s25 to s25+, then immediately upgrade from s25+ to s25U? the closest store is 50 minutes away, wondering if I can do it all in one trip

All depends on the agent and if the agent is willing, if the system allows. It is possible but the only way to know for sure is to try.

You don't need to call for the physical SIM. It will work automatically by swapping it from one device to another.
