So I did the purchase/tradein in the store today, paid in full. I asked the rep how long do I have to wait to unlock it. She said 60 days, either go to the store or call customer service 🤷

This time I told her early, can you please make sure you choose Other as the carrier for the tradein. Boom, Moto G Play 2024 is there. I swore I told her to choose Other the first time. Man, these CSRs don't like to be told what to do. It's a mechanic's or doctor's "I know what I'm doing" arrogance. Anyways got the order processed 800 - 710 tradein + 82 taxes = $172 I'm guessing stores should have more in stock this week. I already went to the Monterey Park one nearby 3 times in the last 2 weeks w/o luck Don't think I have in it me to do this again. I already have a S24 Ultra 512GB on T-mobile and it's not worth upgrading to a S25 Ultra and habe to go through 2 more tradeins. Will use the S25 as a backup or trade in for a future Apple iPhone for family members

Ouch those taxes, I did it at the Simi Valley location and it was 149 at the end with the same trade in. I am doing the S25 Ultra but I jumped the gun and did it directly S25-S25Ultra and now if I cancel I might get stuck in limbo. Apparently Spectrum only gives you two hours to cancel or they can also try to cancel if you haven't received received the order confirmation. RIP about 100 dollars.😂 I guess I'm learning.

Yeah LA county rate 3% more than Simi Valley tax rate but yours looks like it's lower than the 7.25% tax rate for Simi Valley?

I would go S25+ or S25 Ultra if I or another family member will use it. Just saving this for a trade in for Apple iPhone down the road later this year for a family member

Hahaha yeah I was thinking of getting a second one but with how in store trade ins are being locked it makes me not want to bother. I also don't really have many old phones to trade in cause my family beats the crap out of theirs.

It's funny because it seems to depend on what agent you get. I traded in a Moto G Power 2020 and the girl helping me couldn't find it in the list. She asked me how long ago I bought it, and I wasn't sure if this phone qualified for trade-in so I just said "oh, maybe a year or two ago". She kept playing with the Moto and looking for something (IMEI or whatever) and then just said, it's worth $5 (plus the $700 TIV). I said "OK, great". Turns out later when I got the trade-in confirmation email, it said I traded in a "XT2415-1 Moto G Power 5G 2024 128GB T-Mobile". Totally wrong, 4 years older, half the memory (64GB), no 5G, and it was purchased factory unlocked from Target (not a T-Mobile model). Still, it went through anyway and I got the credit. Later they may check and find out it isn't what was traded in, but too late, they've accepted it as a trade in already.

wow, I'm impressed with my trade-in to Assurant. Originally, the value of my S21U with cracked screen was $54 + $700 promo, the final value given was $108 + $700 after inspection. We will see if that amount will reflect in my account in the next couple days.

Online order timeline:
2/19 Shipped the same day received the order, QR code scanned at UPS store
2/21 Delivered to Lewisville, TX
2/25 Email of final inpection

Status online has not updated at all.

For a week now, still getting the "Server Error" online and cannot get any new trade-in or add a line. Guess my online tradein is blocked too, just like the instore.
