May I know the approx cost if I do 2nd line by trading a moto g stylus or g play to s25..?
Then if I want to upgrade to s25+ or ultra, how much extra in addition to service.
Just want approx split up so not to pay more..

Got denied trying to upgrade my S25+ to Ultra today in Orange County CA. He was steamed, saying I couldn't do that and in the end he said he was going to flag my account for fraud. Funny thing is, I upgraded my S25 to S25+ in the same location last week.
I'll move on to the next store.

Tried to do the same trade yesterday. CSR scanned the S25+, put in the IMEI of the s25 for trade in and as I was about to pay, she quoted me to pay $80.

Didn't make sense since the trade in was worth more. She looked confused, went to the back to talk to her manager, even though I just insisted on paying and figuring it out later.

She came back and tried to process my payment but said the payment wasn't being allowed. I'm skeptical. I think her manager told her something. I should've shut my mouth and paid but don't me why the system would charge be $80 instead of credit

What reason did he give you as to why you couldn't do it? I tried the s25 to s25+ yesterday and they told me that the system flagged it and couldn't allow payment.

I've only done 2 motos to 2 s25s. Nothing crazy

He noticed I had the S25+ in my hand and figured I was going to trade it in. He said "you're not allowed to do that. Once you get the $700 once, you cant do it anymore." Apart from that, he kept going on that what I wanted to do was fraud. I told him no, Spectrum is allowing it. It seemed like he took it personally. Like I was stealing from HIS company.

No bro thats not tru i upgraded iphone xr to s25 today... The rep was like do you need another one so i did a54 to s25 added line for $30... so i did got 2 times $700🤓

I am gonna try the s25 to s25+ tomorrow in different store will see

Naw, she was super cool. She knew exactly what was going on, knew it didn't break any rules, and was fine with it because she should be. Super nice lady.

No luck today. It seems their excuse in my area(Orlando, FL) is consistently that they don't have stock as it's a hot item, tax return season, promo is ending soon so everyone upgrading, etc etc. I think I'm done trying to do trade in at the store, wasted too much time at this point. Still waiting for Assurant to process my phone that UPS says was received by a person(forgot their name on the UPS site) on Friday the 19th.

Anyone activate the S25s and switch the sim back to your old phone? S25s came with esims and I called support to switch the service back to the old spectrum sim card I had and they did it easy peasy. The question I have is would it cause any issue with unlocking the S25s?

Good luck. It seems easy to get the S25, especially when you're opening a new line (they get commission on new lines). I was also able to get 2 S25s with 2 new lines.
You just have to find a friendly rep.
If I keep having issues upgrading my S25+, I'll open another line to help my odds finding a helpful rep.
