S25-S25... easy $200+ credit ? well, I didn't go for it since I have few old phones.
Yes, it's easy credit. Store may not allow it though. Try online.

Also, if you guys want to save cash back from credit card, you can actually get the refund credited on debit card/bank account. Not much but helped me save 2% on 1000 bucks refund.

The reason I didn't activate the device is because I don't want to pay $50 fee if I return S25 when Assurant doesn't approve my old device.
yes, I get that, I am in same boat, except my device will be delivered tomorrow. fingers crossed.

Yes. The one that took the scenic tour is the one that said it was an Ultra instead of the S25. They did provide me with an IMEI. I asked for pictures from Assurant and they said they can't do that as they already moved the phone elsewhere because it didn't have any damage. It seems like either I get adjusted credit or nothing along with the charge for the phone. Spectrum CS put in a ticket for me as well (separate from my direct email to Assurant).
Sounds like maybe UPS screwed up and delivered the wrong phone. Would put a ticket in with them as well. Does their delivery email picture give you any clues? Funny thing is my s25 256 was sent by Fedex yesterday and the tracking shows that it went in the total opposite direction that it was supposed to, 500 miles out of the way yet it still says it will be delivered tomorrow. I doubt it will be. FYI, return policy is 14 days from shipping.

Also, on the choice of shipping label page it says once you generate the shipping label you can not cancel the trade so definitely waiting for the phone to get here before I do that.
Will be opening the new phone, activating it and switching the sim (I know I have to call) and use it for a bit before I mail the other phone in. Don't want to be stuck with a new phone that doesn't work after all this trouble. Worth the possible $50. If only they had the 256 in the store would have done it there.

Got a message today saying there is a 10 device limit per customer. I wonder if there is a way around this. I guess I can try using or creating another account.

I think the days of in-store s25 to plus or ultra are over. Doesn't seem like anyone has been successful for the past few days in store, including myself
Able to add a line today with $700 in-store tradein for S25 Ultra, plus upgraded an existing line with S25 to S25 ultra at the same time. Another store I went to yesterday saw that that I already have S25 and refuse to do another $700 tradein upgrade, said that they can do it but only for a new line. Seems like stores are making up their own rules.

I know that there is 10 lines limit per customer, not sure about 10 devices.

I ordered S25 Base to S25 256 GB on Monday. Sent S25 Base to Assurant yesterday using UPS. I just received the S25 256 GB, and I will keep it sealed until the trade in is complete.

People that used UPS for trade in, how long did it take for the tracking to show up? I dropped off 2.5 hours ago and UPS still says the tracking # doesn't exist.

I won't update until they do pickup scan, which is later in the day.

Cool, thanks. I am just nervous since I was dropping off an S25 and he didn't package it in front of me, but I know where to find him if something shady occurs!

On trade in page at the bottom, it says : Trade-in offer requires customers to trade in qualifying device, purchase and activate a new device. Trade-in device must have a value greater than $0. If the value of the trade-in device credit exceeds the cost of the new device, credit will be reflected on bill statement within 2-3 bill cycles. Any promotional credits offered will be reflected over 36 months on the bill statement. One trade-in promotional offer is available per line. Cancellation of mobile line before device is paid off will result in forfeiture of any remaining promotional credits. Visit spectrum.com/mobile/trade-in for details.
It also says one promotional offer per line which we know is not true ? so who knows if they dont need activation and just process trade-in ?
Nah, i think everyone is exaggerating how picky assurant is this go around. I mailed in a s25 for an s25plus and ups tracking never updated for me. It took exactly a week for them to give me my credit on my account. I also did not factory reset my S25 nor have I activated the S25+ that i traded it for… even at this point i haven't activated it.

I have a couple questions for the ones that are veterans of these spectrum deals.

Is it true that we don't have to keep paying for any of the lines we added just for this deal? I understand the 60 days, but as long as we have one line then we can simply switch the phone we are trying to unlock on to that line once it has been 61 days and request the unlock? Or do we have to do it one by one, like i finish the unlock of the device on the line now and then i switch the next one over and wait 60 days on that phone. I guess is 60 days straight for each line or a cumulative 60?

If i was gonna sell a device I say it's locked to spectrum, but is it locked for the remainder of the 60 days or 60 straight no matter what for them? And i simply just transfer/port the line out before selling?

Thanks dudes, and rep for whoever reads this book and spits some facts
