I did one as well. My 25+ will be delivered tomorrow. I used usps today because i didn't want to trust ups with my s25 even though i used ups the first time. S25 will be delivered Monday, idk why usps takes this long. When will ups shows it will be delivered for you?

Unlikely. Global is SM-931B, while Spectrum's version (and all of USA models) is SM0931-U. U's can be flashed to U1 (USA carrier free) without a problem, but I doubt it can be flashed to global since the hardware (modem) may be different.

I haven't tried so myself, so you can try it. I have tried flashing Tracfone Samsung phones (unique Tracfone only model numbers) before to generic ROMs and ODIN failed, but it didn't brick the phones either. Still, those were cheap Tracfones, I wouldn't risk it on a S25.

Anyone not able to go to billing statements and then to mobile in website? I saw some comments about the app not showing but is it for website as well?

When I called customer service today, they didn't even see my credits from trading in my two S25s, just trading in my one S25+ to Ultra. She is telling me to check my CC statements for the S25 credits. After I walk her through everything a couple times, and explain they are bill credits, and not direct refunds to credit card, all a sudden, now there is more money on there to credit me back from Spectrum to my credit card, that includes all my trade ins. Those S25 credits weren't even showing on the last statement, just the s25+ trade in account.

Through all my personal experience with customer service at Spectrum, and reading all the stuff in this thread about people's experience with their customer service, it seems they really don't know what is going on. It's guessing and speculation, and maybe finding the right solution. It seems kind of crazy to me…

I also had a worrying experience at UPS today, doing my final trade…

He didn't scan everything he was supposed to, claiming I needed to provide a box. After awhile, someone came over, and helped him redo the whole process, and got it processed right. Then I saw the helped individual go over to a shipping table, and struggle FOREVER to put that phone box together. I didn't even get to see it to completion. I really hope everything went ok with it. It was a far cry from my last experience there, and quite concerning.

Should we speculate on unlocking policy?

I got off chat with the activation team. Told me that if I take out/change out the SIM at anytime to switch to a different phone, those days don't count towards the 60 days (I don't believe them). And if I wanted to switch phones to take off the S25, I needed to submit some information of the new phone to use on spectrum. If I did that before the 60 days, it would cause problems in their system.

A regular mobile rep after that just said the countdown starts as soon as the phone is activated. Doesn't matter if the phone is on or active. 60 days is 60 days

I sent my phone in a week ago using the provided QR code at a local UPS store. The tracking status shows 'Delayed.' I contacted UPS, and they informed me that the package is now considered lost. Assurant told me they couldn't process a claim with UPS. What should I do in this situation?

Their supervisor said that ticket is submitted for approval and it takes only 5 business days max. It should be done before I mail the trade-in phone. I think it still work. Do you hear anyone has similar case and unable to get the credit? Wonder why all of you are so negative with this.

I have had experience both ways. I had to finally submit an FCC request last year after 4 months to get one phone unlocked. Even then (and Def 60 days on network just maybe not consecutive) the lawyers sent me a letter that I hadn't complied with their policy and they were doing it as a courtesy.
