No, it's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing!

Is this the same as the one sold on Outdoor Research's website, or is this going to be of lesser quality? It does have the same model #.

Should be the same. Outdoor Research doesnt do variations of existing products based on merchant.

I bought this from OR website about 3 years ago. I really like it. Not too thick or thin, blocks the wind, and has a little stretch .

Do you have to be a Sam's Member to buy from them? We don't have them anywhere close to where I live.

Yes according to the model number in the URL you provided and the one on the Sam's Club page

EDIT: I read half the comment before replying LOL. The jacket linked in the other comment is a different model from what's available now though, but seems to be an older discontinued model from OR.

Yes. Non-member can buy, but pay a 10% surcharge. If you need it shipped, I think they charge $8. Store pick up is free.

Thx, got one.

The Eddie Bauer Down Packable is also fantastic for the $35 price. I've worn it with only a t-shirt down to 25 degrees so far for walk/runs. The medium weights in at 300 grams.
