This is perfect for ceramic coated wheels. The non-acid formula makes it less corrosive than other brands and helps your coating last longer. Ceramic coating on the car's surface usually have a less harsh environment due to car owner's using pH balanced wash and are using a ceramic booster application or detailer post-wash. Wheels is where more aggressive chemicals are usually used causing faster degradation.

I honestly don't dilute 1:4. More like 1:2 in a iK foam pro 2. Most people pay $8 to $10 for up to 24oz. This Nanoskin product is yielding 128oz product + 256oz water = 384oz of cleaner for ~$14. You'd need 16 bottles of 'the other guys' to have the same usable ounces. So the math:

$14 for 128oz. + 256oz. water = 384 ounces + $35 iK foam pro 2 = $49.
*You now own the best car detailing sprayer on the market so your 'replacement' costs are much lower.

$8 for 24oz. X 16 throw-away bottles = 384 ounces for $104.

Most modern wheels are painted or clear coated. Bon Ami is very abrasive to paint and will damage the surface and if used repeatedly it will remove the paint and leave you prone to corrosion.

I'd recommend this wheel cleaner. Of the few brands I've tried, it's the best I've used.

Nah not to clean wheels, but yes for saving money. Read Rich Dad Poor Dad. Lots of math…..but a good lesson. If you're here to save money you've learned lesson one - do your homework. If you're washing your car you've learned lesson two - do it yourself when you can.

Try Bon Ami for cleaning wheels. I only tried once but it worked incredibly well. I think it's similar to barkeepers friend but not sure they're identical.

both of those are abrasive buddy

also barkeeper's friend is a heavy acid based cleaner and bon ami is a neutral soap based cleaner, completely different

Is there an expiration date for something like this or can you potentially use it for like 10 years stored in a garage.
