Awesome price. I have the "Breeze" & have gotten a lot of use out of it. Using Fairlife milk & protein powder, as a base, makes for fantastic protein ice cream. My wife loves it with chocolate protein powder, pero, cocoa powder, low whipped cream, & a little graham or biscoff crumbled on top. I'm a big fan of using vanilla protein powder, cheesecake pudding mix, some low cream cheese, & graham.

This is what I use, as a base, if anyone is interested:

Base (365-385 calories, 65-67g protein):
1 cup Fairlife skim (80, 13)
1/2 cup almond milk (15, <1)
2 tsp PB fit (25, 4)
1 tsp sugar-free pudding mix (5?, 0)
2 scoops protein powder (240/260, 48/50)

If anybody is hesitant because it's refurbished, I bought a refurbished one last time this deal was up, arrived basically looking brand new. No issues with it.

I am a big fan of full fat and full sugar ice cream, and I've heard the cream is much better for lower fat/sugar free alternative types of ice cream than traditional ones…

Does anyone use this to make full fat/sugar ice cream? I've heard the texture isn't as good but maybe it might not bother me that much.

Wondering if I should go the traditional ice cream maker with a compressor route
Yes, I'll make traditional ice cream custards, freeze, the. process with the Creami. Texture has more small ice crystals than a compressor-based ice cream maker, even if you do the "Re-Spin" option for a second mix. Most people can't tell the difference though, and the Creami is a way faster and more convenient way to make ice cream

I don't get when you would get this over a$30 normal ice cream maker that makes it right away not overnight
The $30 ones are canister and they need to be in the freezer for 24 hours or more. The $200+ ones have compressors which take 30 minutes or more.

unless, I'm wrong, please link us where you can get $30 ice cream maker that can make it in less than an hour of prep work.

Ordered one. I make a gallon of plain yogurt with my Instant Pot every couple of weeks. Will be fun to try to make some frozen yogurt by adding some fruit to the plain yogurt. Worth a shot I guess.

I'm assuming that once you make the frozen yogurt creamy and then put it back in the freezer, it will freeze rock hard again. Is that true? Could I add some other ingredient to it to prevent it from getting so hard when being put back in the freezer?

From the videos I've seen, yes you can put the container back in the freezer after eating. You need to flatten the top so the blades wont slip.

Got one of these last time it was on sale for $100. Absolutely love it. Been using it at least once or twice a week to make healthy(ish) protein ice creams. I'm sure I'll use it a ton more come summer time.

I've been very happy with other Ninja products, and I love making ice cream with my Kitchenaid Mixer, so this is worth a try for $90. Thanks, OP, TU and rep.

Never seen a SD post that doesn't have the SAVE 9 MILLION DOLLARS OVER MSRP all over the page

No idea what the original cost was

The fact it's the same price as 83 previous frontage deals isn't hilarious though, if depressing

They're talking about the ones at Walmart you typically see where you add ice and salt on the outside. Those are cheap but not exactly the same. I'd say this is much easier, although you just have to plan ahead.

Will look into the ninja swirl. Thanks!
The ninja swirl doesn't make soft serve whatsoever, it's a marketing gimmick. It's the same exact consistency and texture as the creami, but it gets extruded to a shape. Nothing about it actually makes it soft serve.
