Awesome price. I have the "Breeze" & have gotten a lot of use out of it. Using Fairlife milk & protein powder, as a base, makes for fantastic protein ice cream. My wife loves it with chocolate protein powder, pero, cocoa powder, low whipped cream, & a little graham or biscoff crumbled on top. I'm a big fan of using vanilla protein powder, cheesecake pudding mix, some low cream cheese, & graham.

This is what I use, as a base, if anyone is interested:

Base (365-385 calories, 65-67g protein):
1 cup Fairlife skim (80, 13)
1/2 cup almond milk (15, <1)
2 tsp PB fit (25, 4)
1 tsp sugar-free pudding mix (5?, 0)
2 scoops protein powder (240/260, 48/50)

If anybody is hesitant because it's refurbished, I bought a refurbished one last time this deal was up, arrived basically looking brand new. No issues with it.

The ninja swirl doesn't make soft serve whatsoever, it's a marketing gimmick. It's the same exact consistency and texture as the creami, but it gets extruded to a shape. Nothing about it actually makes it soft serve.
Yep. Stupid up charge. Literally a creami with a soft serve extruder. Only $400. Jeez.

They're talking about the ones at Walmart you typically see where you add ice and salt on the outside. Those are cheap but not exactly the same. I'd say this is much easier, although you just have to plan ahead.
Yes I am thank you for responding. Some ppl are jerks and just downvote for asking a question... Geez

Choice is yours. We love the convenience of having individualizable portions in 2 minutes (that's taking it out of the freezer and putting the jar into the Creami - not counting the pre-freezing time). We do everything from full fat, full sugar to no sugar sherbet. The trick is to get the temperature right. When we take them out of the freezer, it's too hard. So, what worked for us is to move it to the fridge for about a hour. However, when that's not feasible, letting it sit at room temp after spinning for a little bit also helps. May need to respin, but we never do. Remember, ice cream isn't supposed to be served too cold. Your tongue loses its ability to taste when it gets too cold.
Agreed- ice cream has to warm up a bit before it's perfect. Sounds like a great machine, especially for $90, too bad I didn't pull the trigger... )=
It does sound nice that you can have a bunch of different pints pre-frozen and ready to spin

Did anyone receive a defective unit? When the container locks, the blade just falls off.

I just got mine and will test tonight. You might have a defective blade and it might need to be replaced under warranty

I guess this wouldn't be a problem for me since I usually unplug un-used appliances anyway.

I have the same issue. Believe it or not. It's in the instructions. You are supposed to unplug it after every use.

Same issue here. Wasn't a huge deal until the blade/shake sheared and left metal shavings all over the ice cream. Woot was good about sending it back.

wait no!!!! you didn't read the next post -- apparently it is normal -- I did buy this plug and it works fine for the device off and on ( to avoid pulling plug each time) -- they must have been sued or something dumb to force the device to do this on purpose
