D4 requires you to be online, unfortunately. I think only Diablo 2 and 3 allow you to have offline profiles/modes.

I have over 1200 hours on D3 over the years, and about 100 on D4. Something about D4 just don't feel right to me, it's simply not very fun. For the money I'd play PoE2 instead (Currently on Beta for $30 and $0 once the game is officially released). When in doubt there's always Grim Dawn.

Ummm you are in need of a new PC or fresh windows install. No glitches with me or any of the friends I play with.

Recommend clean driver install for your rig or something to figure out what's wrong....it's not the game

Say what? So if I have the base game on gamepass I can play the expansion for free this weekend? Or is it just the "up to level 20" trial they had before but opened up all characters?

(Im sure most of you guys already know this but... but for those that don't)

If you like this style of play, you might also think about checking out 'Path of exile 2', which just recently went to early access through steam. Its also costs around $30 but will be completely free once released. Personally, I think its miles ahead of the Diablo for visuals and effects, and the skill tree and ascendancy options are pretty insane.

If you are more casual than hardcore, then D4 is more of your game than POE2. I tried POE2 a few times, and at my age, the difficulty is just not worth my time anymore. After getting one shot by bosses too many times, I'd rather watch TV than getting exp reduced upon death.

You may want to do some troubleshooting on your PC. This game does not crash every 20 minutes. That's a you problem

You spend hours, days, and months on farming gears and then Blizzard says "well that's it. The season is over and we start new"….. lost interest after that.

Diablo 4 was the first one I've ever played. I usually don't ever pay the high release price of a game ($80), but I did for this one. I played the first 6 seasons and put about 250hrs in, the most I've ever put into a game. I got my money's worth, but I don't think I'll be loading it to play again any time soon. I've moved on. I'd say for the price it's very decent. They've addressed alot of quality of life issues since the first 3 seasons.
