Their TOS says that the optional hotspot (at $5/mo additional) is capped at 5GB max.
You can only use 1/3 of that 15GB for hotspot.
Instant pass for me.

Trying this out, had USMobile previously, light plan. They raised the price a bit. Infimobile has 5gb of data and enough text and minutes a month for 12 months for $86 (with taxes) on their site. Light plan with USMobile is $96 and gets you 2GB/month. I have burned through that data occasionally without even realizing it in the first 2 weeks so I would have to buy add-on data. Will try it, if it sucks I'll try something else. I tried Mint a few years ago and it was basically non-funtional for me.

I have a secondary phone with no SIM, and can use a GV number to make and receive calls using WiFi. Would putting in a data-only SIM give me the ability to make calls without WiFi?
Yes you need to go GV and set making and receiving calls to prefer wi-fi and mobile data. I have a secondary pixel (data only) I do that exact same thing. Just make sure you use the dialer in Google Voice.

Can you only order just one with the 25% off? After ordering one, I don't have the option to order another with that discount. I was pretty sure normally you just had to order them Individually one at a time to keep getting the discounts.

It is but it didn't work for me. I had to call them and they sorted it out within a few hours, including porting in a number from another provider.

to those who is using this service, does it have a portal to manage your line like most websites?
my spare number is expiring and I don't use that much data on it, was gonna switch to US Mobile for $96 a year on their 2GB light plan, but wouldn't mind giving this a try for the extra data, but worry about when I need to port it out to another company it's gonna be a pain in the ass

Everyone charges for eSIM now. Is that first eSIM activation or moves. I know move is 5 bucks. I had to rma a phone with eSIM on it. I moved it to a psim in case the phone need to be repaired again. But that's how you stay as budget

Yes. But go with psim if you need to move around. Otherwise it's 5 bucks a move
