Been watching the price lately, seems this is the lowest it's gotten. Finally decided it's low enough to buy. Hope you're having a great day.

Lowest I recall is about $430 (don't quote me) from christmas/black friday sales and camelcamelcamel indicates lowest price outside of 3rd party used.

Can also get for $499 (pretax) through bestbuy right now.

Its apparently cheap for a reason, unlike the 990D that goes on sale the TCL ones apparently dont sound good and their DSP doesnt do a very good job w/ room correction.

You can regularly find most of the 990 series products on sale several times throughout the year for $700. Id say it almost can be found on sale at least a few times every other month around $700-800. Which meets the retail of the Q85H
