Don't know. For $80 it is worth a try. Most of these vehicles cost above $150. If my son can be happy for 6 months with this, it would be worth it.

These have puny motor. Think of RC car size motor. It is slow and has no torque. Small hill and it will crawl one inch per second if you are lucky.
I bet you will find tons of them for free on craigslist Smilie

In my experience 12v is just too little power. You basically throw it out in a few months after they grow out fast. I've bought some slightly larger 24v that have higher speed with remote controls for younger kids that lasted years. Much better investment if this thing takes up garage space either way.

We have the pink one for about two years. Our 5 year old toddler got a little bit big for it and the battery is not holding charge. Otherwise, it served us well for almost 2 years.

Buy a proper 24v. Once your kid gets the hang of this, they will want more power for jumping off curbs, going uphill and over grass, etc. Higher power ones are 150-200 on sale but they will last you much longer. Easily until the kid gets to about 4ft tall.
