Sorry to be "that guy" but prices are actually so bad now. I tried adding code to my account, turns out I already have a 50% discount active. Made a sample cart with 2 items (~$30 total) even with 50% off, ends up $35 total (-$15 discount + $0.49 delivery + ~$19.50 of tax, service fee, Seattle $5 charge).
Used to let you stack with other coupons so I could get a decent deal that way, but looks like it invalidates promo if store offers a discount. Sad days
Thanks anyways though OP.

Exactly, that's what I've been saying. Even with a constant 50% off, it still doesn't seem worth it. Seems like there's some pretty strong Uber PR at play here, though. 😂

This one has a pretty low minimum spend, which can be appealing to individuals ordering only for themselves. The ones UE usually sends to an account, has a $25-$30 minimum order.

It all just depends
I've got Uber One free for next six months and the fees are low so makes it worthwhile for me anyway
Lol, dude. I dont need anyone else to decide what my time is worth. Maybe you have time to drive/walk around to pick stuff up. Also some stores dont offer delivery on their own. It is a service that has a price. I get that it is too expensive for you. But, gift card deal (25% off) and 40% off stacked sounds like pretty good buffer to me. I sometimes end up paying less than what i would have paid ordering directly from the restaurant. It is pretty stupid to say corporate gimmick when it is just your incapability and financial status that prevents you from taking advantage.
Edit: I just ordered ramen from my fav store. They dont offer delivery, so I would have to drive 30min total roundtrip to pick up and pay $18.50+tax. Uber order with 40% off total was $19.41 including fees and $5 tip. I used Uber GC, which was 25% off from costco. You tell me who won here.
You should get off Youtube and start accurately assessing information doing math yourself.

Oh, you're really out here lecturing folks about their time, huh? I mean, you've clearly mastered the art of surfing Slickdeals for hours, stacking gift cards and chasing free trials. You must really have that "I'm hustling for my next discount" lifestyle on lock. And yes, let's be real, navigating through stacks of deals, figuring out the right combo of discounts, and chasing the perfect 25% off gift card is exactly how I want to spend my day too, right after I finish calculating my worth based on a couple of free meals. But hey, maybe you can keep telling everyone how your time is spent way more wisely than ours.
Oh, and just to clear it up—I didn't do the "wrong math." That's actually how Uber shows the pricing after applying the discount code. So, yeah, thanks for unintentionally backing up my point with your "expert" analysis, lol.

I actually didn't spend much time researching about it. 25% and 40% are good by itself, and stacking is even better. Im sorry that it takes you a very long time. Much less what you would have spent driving around picking your food up. My credit card comes with free membership, so i didn't have to use free membership like you imagined. At the end of the day, i didn't drive around for pickup, and i paid less while paying a good tip. You just can't accept your youtube life coach failed you. Only thing you are clearing up is that you are incapable of seeing what is a good deal. Keep driving man. Maybe you should deliver food for ubereats if you think it's such a good deal on their end.
if you're in Los Angeles county, both Uber Eats and Postmates are waiving all fees (delivery, service, driver benefits) through the end of the month due to the fires, and stacks with this code

What, store promo invalidates any coupons? Is that a recent change?
I'm hoping BOGO can still stack with whatever discount they may offer. That's probably the only time I feel like it's worthwhile to use Uber eats.
It's gotten worse over the past few years with both the organic price hikes as well as some stores deliberately having a different price structure for Uber Eats / Doordash orders. That's sneaky because even if you think you're getting a good deal, you realize that the base price is already hiked to negate it.

The one that does work still to stack is the "free item" with x purchase promo
