Orange tag markdown for a Logitech Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 3 (black).
Not too many at my local MC but they did have a few in stock locked away.
This is the older model (vs the Wonderboom 4), still uses micro USB, and can be paired with another of the same model.
These sound great for their size, play for a reasonably long time at decent volume, and float (IP67 waterproof/dustproof). We've had a few for years that we and friends/family regularly use in addition to other speakers. For their size, these punch above their weight on sound quality and volume. At this price, I think it's worth a look, assuming you have a store nearby and they have a few. Great to leave around at work, throw in a backpack, hang from a net while playing sports, bring on the boat, etc.
Happy Hunting!

I've owned so many Bluetooth speakers and so much audio equipment that I'll never be able to remember it all. When I got invested in building out my home theater, the Hi-Fi bug really took ahold of me. It isn't always the case but I've had some amazing budget, no-name brand Bluetooth speakers and some garbage speakers made by reputable brands. I have accumulated Bluetooth speakers for pretty much every scenario I know I would want to have something to have on hand for which, if you ask my wife, is a ridiculous amount... I can't argue that fact with her either lol.
There is decent competition at most price points but the more expensive you get, the more you want to lean into the brands that have been doing it great for years. However, at this price point, there is a ridiculous amount of competition that just doesn't make this speaker worth it anymore if you are willing to look around. Personally, I won't go back to micro USB either but I know many people just don't care and that's cool. If the speaker justified it, I would use micro USB as well but there just isn't a speaker on the market anymore that makes me feel like I can justify it (again, my personal prerogative).
For an extremely good value that delivers great sound for less than half of this speaker, I highly recommend checking out this video I had to make: https://youtube.com/shorts/zQbbuh...1o4FkS
I can't post links or brands because I've had those comments instantly deleted by mods in the past. The recommended speakers from that video are identical and sold under at least 3 different brand names that I could find. I typically don't order anything from AliExpress as a general rule of thumb but I did test one of them to see if they matched what I got from Amazon and they are identical. Those give you a TWS (true wireless stereo) pairing feature that works just as good, or better, than any other speaker pairing models I've tried. They are an absolute budget champion at half the price of this one speaker. Stereo pairing these will always give a better experience than a single speaker.
Just my take on it. Hope people enjoy their music no matter which way they lean
We use one of ours approx once a week and charge it infrequently, it has no problem holding a charge while sitting around.
Perhaps yours was just defective and had some sort of parasitic draw. The manual also makes no mention of a standby mode.
There's no way to turn it off or adjust the volume and people have been complaining about it since the Wonderboom 1 days. Logitech just doesn't care, all their other speakers work with the UE app including the much cheaper UE Roll (even the ancient 1st generation). They just don't plan to support the Wonderboom in the UE app and they don't care that they shipped the product with a very annoying flaw.
