Seems like a good deal, but unless I read it wrong the rebate is for $10 in-store credit. Good for folks who go to Menards a lot, but not good for me.

True, but how hard is it to spend $10 on something you need at a hardware store? And Menards even carries several food items. All that said, I posted another deal on a 800A Schumacher jump starter for $30 (no rebates): https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/18079678

Agreed Menards uses the term rebate pretty loosely it's more like a reward.

Project Farm should test it I'm curious how it would do.
It says 29.6 Wh battery on Menards site for the 1000a
29.6 wh x 3.7v lithium ion cell is 8000mah

Hompow is 28000mah /3.7(lithium ion cell) is 103.6wh project farm tested it at 21254 mah and 78.64wh which is like 75% of advertised capacity.

If we say Schumacher is 75%(?) of advertised that's 6000mah and 22wh

Again I would love to see it tested but I'm guessing based of the advertised battery size it wouldn't do too great.

Price is tempting, my last schumacher jump pack experience however was a dud, so I'm not sure I'm willing to bite.

Unfortunately, Menards isn't nationwide - closest store is 651 miles away, so pretty dang difficult to use it in-store. They could at least make it redeemable online so we could order something else in the future.

This deal doesn't work at all if you don't have a Menards nearby because there is no free shipping (to home).
