Wow, does a good read/write speed make 10x price increase over regular SD card? Insane
Depends on the needs. Usually, u3 can do 30MBS or 240mbs. Some cameras have better fps or color or reduce compression ratio or more iframe or higher contrast. There was a phone that asked for 400mbs for video.
If you need it and can make the money back, $1 to 1gb is not too bad if you can make roi easily.
I don't think the price is unreasonable for what it is, but consider this:
I have not yet be able to find, at least in my experience, a camera setting that runs on V90 card that doesn't run on V60 card, and a 256 PNY V60 UHS2 card cost 35 dollars (which is what, 10% of the price of this card for the cost per storage?). if you doing high spec recording, they will either requires external USB-C or cf express.
While this may be a better price for this particular item...The vast majority of people using it for a digital camera have no need for an SD card of this particular capacity with 300mb/s minimum speeds. Simply commenting to keep a casual shopper from a potential case of buyers regret.

You can search for express card type a and b.
