I usually don't bite unless the discount is over 20% since they bumped up the prices in 2022 by 20%.

I got this set last year when B&N was having a 20% off sale. Overall it's a great build if you like the LEGO motorcycles. One small issue that I had was the shifter gets stuck when you upshift.

I don't track regularly, but from my understanding $0.12/brick is the high end of what people consider a "deal", with $0.08 being the buy right now price. The very first LEGOs produced cost about $0.15/brick (factoring inflation), for reference.

I personally don't think price per brick is a particularly useful metric outside of being something simple to track because it assumes all bricks have equal utility and are being used repeatedly. The average person builds the set as instructed and never touches it again, so does price per brick even matter if you're building solely for display purposes?
