Thanks to Deal Hunter StrongWeather642 for finding this deal.

Features:
  • Kids and adults can enjoy swimming in Bestway's Steel Pro Above Ground Pool. It's the affordable alternative to a more complicated steel-walled pool, yet it provides durability and stability greater than inflatable pool options.
  • A rust and corrosion-resistant coating protects the pool from UV and abrasion damage. A 3-ply PVC support band surrounds the pool for additional stability.
  • A durable, yet lightweight PVC material provides structural integrity to your pool. It's tear-resistant and won't fade overtime to sun exposure.
  • No tools are required to install this above ground pool in your backyard. A flow-controlled drain valve provides a simple solution for emptying the excess water.
  • Chemconnect chemical dispenser replaces the need for a traditional floating chemical cleaner. It simply attaches to a valve on the pool wall.
  • Capacity: 2,700 Gallons
  • Product Dimensions: 168.11"L x 168.11"W x 33.07"H
  • Material: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
  • Included Components: Pool, Filter Pump, Filter Cartridge
  • Item Weight: 78 Pounds

Exactly, you are spot on. Wealthy people buy above ground and throw it away after 3 years when their kids stop using it. Saving $100,000 in their brokerage account and 3 years later is worth $150k. The others buy an in-ground for $100,000 with a second mortgage at 12% interest, and pay another $200 per month for electricity, chemicals, and ongoing maintenance while they live there. 3 years later they still owe more on the mortgage than the original $100,000 cost. LOL

I have the Intex C1000, pump, which LOOKS identical to this one in my 10ft x 30in pool. Had great luck with the pump, but make sure to clean or replace the filter weekly (roughly 2 or 3 bucks per filter,) as it gets dirty really fast.

The pump alone is $80ish dollars on Amazon right now, so, for the extra $10, I'll invest in a bigger pool. Thanks OP! 😁

you aren't asking the right questions.

You should ask where you can pick up 2000 pounds of potatoes, 100 of onions, 5 of salt, 30 of celery, 100 of noodles, and all the pepper in your town. add milk / bacon / cheese if you like.

We've been thinking about getting a pool. I figure for 90$ this will give us an idea on if we want to get a nice one or if its not worth the cost and hassle for how much we'd use it. Thanks!
