Installation tips: First the door needs to be clean, Little bit of water/soap does the trick. But more importantly the double sided tape on this strip needs to be heated before installing. I just used a heat gun and it worked pretty well (hair dryer on high will probably work too), it went from barely tacky to very tacky. Been about 18 months and still solid.

Rubbing alcohol works too, however, if it's 90% be quick or the paint might start to come off. Also, highly recommend putting a spacer/shim along the length of the door so the rubber isn't rubbing on the ground all the time, you'd be surprised how even with a few pages worth of space it still blocks the flow of air from a central A/C, can be a problem if your door opens into a room...
Thanks. Just in case the exact dimensions matter for anybody - the OP item measures 39" and claims it handles a gap up to 1.5". This better priced one is 37", and addresses gaps up to 1".
That being said, it looks like there are other options priced better too.

I installed similar draft stoppers on all bedroom doors a few years ago, and they all stay strong.
But the real challenge is most doors frames are not installed perfectly in my house. so the height of the gap between the door and floor CHANGES when opening the door. If the stopper covers the gap perfectly when the door is closed, the stopper will usually scratch the floor hard somewhere when I open the door.
Another problem is some houses don't have "HVAC returns". So this stopper will make air circulation more difficult for bedrooms.

That being said its best to get the aluminum framed rubber or felt versions that screw in and stay put.
