Surprisingly the picture quality after signing up for AMC+ through Amazon Prime Video was much better.
I was using a Sony OLED tv and an Apple 4K tv streaming box.

The Roku app sucks big time. Not even a search feature? Really? Haven't tried the iOS app yet, but I don't do any streaming there, so it's irrelevant.
There's a ton of AMC stuff I've really loved over the years. I haven't had access to AMC for ages, so there may be a ton more great programming there I haven't seen yet. But if I have to watch through this brain damaged Roku app, forget it. I'll run out the free trial and wait until they decide it's worth some investment into the development of a decent app.
All is not lost though. I'll finally be able to watch the last season of Orphan Black... 8 years later.
