I got this at BF as well. The reviews about fans seem outdated, there must have been an update as others have said. Running great, fans are silent, I wear a noise canceling headset anyway.

how much more would this drop once the 50xx drops?
The 50xx is a theoretical platform at this point. "Paper" release. It may be over a year before there are decent supplies. Since there are no more 4 series being made, you should likely jump on this if you want to game in the next 6-12 mo.

Reviews say the PC is quite loud. Anyone have recommendations on a quieter pc? Ok to sacrifice a little bit of specs
As others have stated this computer is not loud... I can not even hear it unless I start crunching on some serious video editing. I also can hear it when I game at 4k (if I take my headphones off).

Interested, a few people said the fans are quiet for this PC in the Black Friday purchase.well, I bought it to, the fans are so loud. I adjusted them to PWM and tuned the fan curve. However, it is still loud as soon as I installed software or do any video editing. I had to return it

I am on the fence about this but the lack of liquid cooling really makes me hesitate
I just bought a Lenovo Legion refurb from this eBay and it is the i9-14900, liquid cooled, and with a 4070 Ti Super. With the 8% off it comes out nearly the same as this one from CostCo and 2 year warranty as well. Perfect so far for me. https://www.ebay.com/itm/156425520900

I was just about to say the same. I looked up and down the listing, all I see is 4070 super. Although if you lookup the MPN 90V7003JUS it does show as a 4070 TI Super on Lenovo's website. But with this being refurb and all, who knows?

This is the exact same way it was listed when I bought, it's the model number of the lenovo, 90V6000KUS which takes you to the exact model on lenovo's site as the model (https://psref.lenovo.com/Detail/L...90V6000KUS). I took the chance knowing it said just 4070 super but it came in with the Ti Super. I think they just run out of characters on the listing and the GPU listing portion. Added pictures
Other hardware info, both are on amazon.
NVMe SSD: Samsung SSD 1TB PM9A1 (basically a 980 Pro)

Mine arrived yesterday in good condition. A few initial observations after initial sett it up and playing less than one hour of Cyberpunk:

- It is loud, as many already noted. I have not yet updated bios, or adjusted fan settings. The mobo is MSI, different than the ASUS mobo that some people report who bought this model around thanksgiving.
- The build quality seems overall good. However, the single heatsink fan has a wobble, which concerns me.

I'll comment more after I spend the weekend enjoying it. Now, I just need to decide if I want to order the 49" Samsung 1000R lcd or the OLED for this system.

Which fans seem the loudest? The case or cpu/gpu?

Liquid cooling for what? I have a 14700k with a peerless assassin on it and I have to run the cpu at 100% to get the temp to the 70s.
