This is a good deal on probably *the* top recommendation we flashlight aficionados offer for a normie who wants an awesome light.

I'd pick the 4000K model, which has a slightly more yellow/orange beam vs. the 5000K that's a bit bluer… this is just personal preference.

Buck driver means battery voltage is "smoothed out" and provides a consistent beam. Compared to something like a linear driver, in which battery voltage affects beam strength more directly (higher voltage, brighter beam), often leading to brighter initial beam versus the buck but it will dim more quickly over time.

Buck = efficient
Linear = bright

I love mine just wish it had a knurled tube and a right angle head.

Interested to try one with the buck circuit, how does that affect them?

Orange sold out. Went with a green. Have so many black flash lights. If this is as good as many say, I want it to stick out.

It's usually a few bucks cheaper, so I'll hold out.

Any advice from the flashlight enthusiasts related to the 5,000K vs the 4,000K choice?

Excellent light. For awareness, this is showing for me as $21.99 without a coupon code (code not accepted on top, I tried ;-) ). At the time, Black, green and orange were all available in 4000 or 5000k.

I like this flashlight a lot, but my one complaint is that the side switch is almost impossible to find by touch, at least for me. I'll be looking for a similar light with a tail switch, since I haven't found a use for the magnetic tail cap; but still a great little flashlight.

I agree with the glowing reviews about this. It by far is my most reliable and useful flashlight. It stays charged, unlike many other ones, it works, it's small, and it's bright. If I needed another flashlight, this is the one I'd get.
