In October 2024, there was a "popular" deal on SD for the regular S24 via Amazon and it was still $600:

The best deals on the Samsung website are for the Ultra and with EDU, so not everyone will qualify. The phone in OPs post is the regular S25.
Unless Samsung does something drastically different from the last 2 releases, I don't think the price will drop that much. It seems like they're trying more and more each year to be comparable to Apple in the US, which means keeping their prices at a "premium" level.
The days of upgrading at release for $100-$200 + freebies seem to be over, which is a huge bummer.

EPP is from T-mobile account?
What if they just keep leaking your pii?
People like phones where they can chose their own grotesque fonts and default messaging tool is SMS. Duh. /s
At the point where it asks to provide t-mobile credentials, I get this error
"T-Mobile doesn't support your account type on Samsung.com. Please see the non-supported account types listed on the page. If you have an Individual account and believe you should not have received this error, you can contact T-Mobile Care to confirm/change your account type to supported type such as Individual – Regular and then return to Samsung.com. OR if you don't want to change your account type, please select T-Mobile device with Samsung offers and a payment option other than T-Mobile Equipment Installment program. Continue by starting over."
Did you face this issue?
I didn't run into this. I was able to log into my Tmobile account during checkout on Samsung.com. Once logged in, it gave me two options to choose from: keep existing simple choice plan or upgrade to Go plan (something like that, don't remember the exact wordings). I chose to keep my Simple Choice plan. After that, entered payment info, signed Tmobile agreement for credit installments and done.

What type of Tmobile account do you have?
I have Simple Choice.
Ok. I get that same "Doesn't support account type" message on the Samsung site but I'm on Magenta Military.
