In October 2024, there was a "popular" deal on SD for the regular S24 via Amazon and it was still $600:

The best deals on the Samsung website are for the Ultra and with EDU, so not everyone will qualify. The phone in OPs post is the regular S25.
Unless Samsung does something drastically different from the last 2 releases, I don't think the price will drop that much. It seems like they're trying more and more each year to be comparable to Apple in the US, which means keeping their prices at a "premium" level.
The days of upgrading at release for $100-$200 + freebies seem to be over, which is a huge bummer.

Summary:
- Click on $50 samsung preorder link that was sent out when the S25 was announced.
- Login to EPP (need to be student, military, first responder, or work at partner company) - see note at the bottom of this post if you're not seeing all the discounts.
- Go to cash back site and navigate to samsung.com from there (Chase offers 6x points)
- Shop for Galaxy S25
- Select Galaxy S25, 256GB, T-mobile (256GB is only $10 more)
- Select $500 trade-in offer from t-mobile and input trade-in info
- Should have $50 in addons for free
Total at checkout should be just the tax (was around $60 for me). Tmobile will charge $769.49 in monthly payments of $32.06 minus the $500 trade-in credit, so should come out to $269.49 or a little over $11 per month for a Galaxy S25 with 256GB storage and free $50 of accessories. Not too bad for trade of a 4 year old phone and keeping our old plan.
Hope this helps some of you!

EDIT: Another thing to note for anyone not getting all the discounts and free accessories... I noticed I wasn't getting all the discounts when I first tried to do the deal, but after chatting with customer service I found out that my EPP didn't work anymore even though I had it before. Turns out I needed to create a new account with my work or school e-mail address. After doing that it worked perfectly.
Did anyone who did this through the Samsung website get the $500/24mo promotion showing up on their line with an older Select Choice plan? The promotion never attached for me. When I checked out at Samsung there was an option to keep my old plan and I was required to log in to my TMobile account during the process so if my plan wasn't eligible it shouldn't have allowed me to complete the purchase. I then never got any promotion enrollment text
I called TMobile and they tried searching all of their promotions and they couldn't find one that gave $500 and allowed you to keep a Select Choice plan. The $500 promo has now been removed from Samsung's site and the only offer now is $800 if you change your plan. I did this on two lines so that's $1000 in credits I'm supposed to get.
The person I spoke to was very helpful and got both a supervisor and manager involved. I sent them a screenshot of my Samsung order that shows $500 TMobile credits on my two Samsung orders. After about 40 minutes of research and consultation they said they are putting in a manual request for $500 in credits on each line over 24 months because they don't have a promotion they can use that allows this type of trade-in credit for my plan. It was also suggested that in the future call them first to confirm that a promotion is valid for my older plan to avoid problems like this. I had the impression they were doing this manual adjustment because I've been a customer for 12 years and that maybe I got lucky because I have nothing to prove that my plan was eligible since the offer is gone now.
I didn't do this through Costco because Capital One was offering 29% cashback on my orders which was far better than the Costco promotion. I got $477 cashback from Capital One for the two orders so this deal worked out well, but I was sweating it.
I have flip4, it turns on when kept unfolded but powers off as soon as you fold.
Looks like a common issue after 1 year of usage. Should I risk it in trade-in?
