Are any of these functional for watching Netflix? Made the mistake of buying an ONN tablet from Walmart that literally can't handle opening an app, but really only use a tablet for watching movies while traveling so I can't justify much of a budget.

All of them are old and pretty slow, don't waste your money on it.

These should not make that much of a difference from your cheap ONN. People buy these if they have really low requirement (a throwaway tablet for reading manga), or just need a cheap monitor for doorbell camera or smart home remote.

2010 Fire HD 8 is a good deal. It runs on the last OS (7) before Amazon gimped it with OS 8. So the Google Services run better when you run Fire Toolbox. Stereo speakers streaming with a headphone jack and little bigscreen.

The Fires often have broken Wi-Fi. I've given up, after two bad ones and another bad wifi Lenovo tablet and just do iPads now.

I'll look into those Paperwhites though.

The 2020 HD 8 works fine using the Paramount + app fwiw, got it for $15 last time I think.

After buying few this, their charging port give out. I won't recommend.

On eBay they sell onn tablet (Walmart brand) 10 inch for 50$. They pure android, so no hack require and come with child proof cases( alone usually cost 15$ +).
