What is this? A fire pit for ants? It's going to need to be at least twice this size.

That was a propane issue. Probably not going to explode with wood

Looks like there's a lot of pyros who like playing with fire.

Is it just me or are the 3 reviews spewing a very strong smell of AI generated comment..
yeah...
all three reviews are from the same day

clicking into the names to see what they have reviewed all three of them reviewed the same bizarre combination of products including a man talking about the fit of a women's shirt

aaaaaand two of the three reviewers also reviewed the same headless lingerie clad "lifelike silicone female torso for private adult activities"

I'd get a real chimney for the price. You're gonna want the handle and this doesn't hold enough to start many coals.

Also its showing 15 for me now...10 was enough that I'd get a few to keep for last minute gifts but 15 is a no go lol.

At least it's showing a more reasonable original price on Amazon. $20 vs $60 Walmart artificially inflated original price is annoying 😒

I would say yes but I wouldn't suggest it
1- actual small chacoal chimney is not much more.
2- you can't fit much coal into it.
3- you would need toby a heat glove to move it. so that adds to the cost.
4 - you can' t really add fuel/ paper/wood from the bottom to burn it.
this is like using printing paper to wipe your butt after pooing. yeah it works but there are better products that can do the job better..

just get this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

Have it for the past 7 years and still works. though I really use it about 4 to 6 times a year..

I was going to get 3 at $9 but at $15. I'm on for one to see how it feels to get a small firepit.
the solo stove one is just too overpriced.

The thing that gets me more is "smokeless". I came to see what fuel it was using. Wood is smokeless now?
The engineering seems legit, and is interesting. The smoke is incomplete burning. If you could only burn that off, it would be smokeless. If you made it hotter, it would just burn everything faster. Wood could theoretically explode if you could only burn it fast enough (enough heat and oxygen).

Instead, these aim to burn about the same rate, but in two stages, one stage that's sort of the normal fire, but then the introduction of hot air (air above the fire has oxygen but is too cool, so combustion has stopped) at the top of the fire through vents that can fuel more complete combustion.

Put differently. Smoke comes from not enough burning. To get compete burning, you need oxygen, and heat in the same location. Normal fires have lots of heat, but not enough oxygen in the fire, then outside the fire, plenty of oxygen, but not enough heat. These try to get more oxygen to the fire, but not all at once, which would just make a super hot fire, but in a second stage before the unburnt fuel can escape as smoke.

I got my mom one of the solo ones a few years ago when it was a big trendy item...she had no idea what it was but ended up using it a handful of times to make s'mores and stuff on a summer night.

I used to be a campfire from 6 PM to 6 AM guy lol but those days are gone and sometimes a little thing that burns for 30 min and then you can go back inside is nice.

But yeah 15 is too much for me. I think you'll enjoy it. Protip if you have any friends doing renovations they probably have small scrap bits that'll last forever in this. Just don't use treated lol.

Not for me. Tax on net, after discount cost with Amazon.
I've noticed this on certain items
I thought it was because I live in California
But it varies on type of product
