if i remember correctly only the first 2 seasons are good. i think 3rd season Kotter's had a baby and last season had no Kotter.

This is true. There are 4 seasons. When Barbarino and Gabe left and only showed up for select episodes the series definitely declined. Then it spent more time on Julie and the baby. In spite of this, I think the worst episodes of Kotter are still better than most other comedy series. You get nearly 2 dozen episodes per season. The theme song was also popular back in its day.

True it is new due to digital licensing laws where they have to legally let you know that this digital license can be revoked by the provider/platform
