Yeah I agree, these things have a lot of wasted valuable real estate by not having bottom drawers if u ask me but there's not much u can get for $150, anything decent w all drawers is more in the $400 neighborhood sad
Also, I don't believe you can open those drawers without having the top flipped up completely open, probably can mod it
& don't forget to bring your best friend called thread lock when assembling these

When you open the top, there are two spring-loaded bars at the back. Those are only there so you can lock the top and the drawers will also be locked. Remove the bars and the drawers don't lock, although they still have the latches that keep them from opening unexpectedly. Those can also be disabled, but I like them because my cart gets rolled over some rough stuff.

The space at the bottom is handy occasionally for stashing a larger tool, but otherwise I hardly use it.

I went to grab this and it was out of stock in every color. They have like 8 colors too.

Cashier checked the incoming truck delivery they are getting this week and it had none coming in. Also checked all the local HF's in the area and none had it in stock.

Just my experience

I have US General Tool cabinets in my home workshop, and they are not for professionals. The drawer sliders are poor quality, and slide poorly. Cabinets are painted with no primer, and untreated and very thin soft steel, so ithe paint offer little protection, and after 10 years you find out the metal underneath the paint is rusted away, even in a dry workshop. I would never buy this again. I have some high quality cabinets made from much thicker steel, and better hardware that will last for life. Even at 3x the price, they are well worth it.
TBH, no professional would use HFT, and they are the only ones that ITC can make sense for. For a hobbyist that dont need to rely on the tools to work full time does not need enough for ITC to make sense. So dont get ITC.
