Try changing stores. If it's on clearance at that specific store, Under the price on the right side, there will be an upside down yellow triangle that says "See In-Store Clearance Price"
Even if it shows though, you have to go to that store and buy in-persoln.

If you are in north NJ, go to the Riverdale HD off of Route 23. They have 7 when I left. And speak with the staff as they aren't placed where their system shows (clearance end cap). Instead, they are in the tools isle on the rack.

Just bought a few days ago at $38, unfortunately nearest store with it in stock at $25 is just too far away to make it not worth it.

Good price, just wish they would honor the price online. Have a few 30 minutes from me but just not worth my time or gas to drive there, park, go in, hopefully find it and get home.

Nice team at my store tried their desperate best to track down even 1 of the seven they showed in stock. No dice. Great deal if you can track 'em down at your store.

Thanks OP! I was able to grab 2 at my Jax Beach location. They had 7 left. Sticker said $39 but they rang up at $25.

About 2 weeks ago I saw it on clearance for $40. I walked into HD a few hours ago and saw the clearance price of $25 but ofc all these kits are sold out so its very YMMV at every location. For reference (for those who dont know) that small packout case with 5 compartments is $30 itself brand new from HD. The bits are practially free for the price of $25.

I just returned this at the $40 because of the loose bits and lots of duplicates. For $25 I'll bite

This or the Makita 60 bit set:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085DZ9G14

I really don't need the packout kit. I'm not going anywhere with them.

Got a couple without bits at $18.75 each. May require a little bit more work, but build your own pack out bundle and get the $150 off $399+

Return the items you don't want. Each item will be prorated by the discount for return purposes.

All things considered, the Makita set will likely serve you better as it is more compact and you don't care about the packout system compatibility. The bit selection in this kit is (imo) better, but this deal is harder to get and the storage is not as good if you just want to throw something in a toolbox/bag.
