This is an inexpensive upgrade that makes a big difference. Also, because I'm using them at work, I like that they don't have a subwoofer. My desk is right next to my Executive Director's office, and I don't want to get noise complaints from her.
As always, it's about the right tool for the right job. If you expect an audiophile listening experience, or a home theater contender, you're going to be sorely disappointed. If you want compact, inexpensive speakers to improve crappy laptop built-ins, or a minimum viable product for a desktop with no built-ins, these are among your better options.

RGB on the pro is a gimmick, but the sound quality and feature set are night and day. My purchase of this model is headed to goodwill.

These "Pebble 2.0 USB"should not be mistaked for the V2. They have less power and no USB-C out.
