For anyone in NYC that wants one. The target in queens, college point had at least 3 in stock at 70% off when I went yesterday. If I didnt already have a Ebike that I dont use, I would have bought one.
You could still get it—then you'd have two E-bikes that you don't use!

Like I said, justify it to yourself all you want, you don't know me, no need to type all that to try and justify yourself to me.

I'm not justifying anything, as in my honest view there is nothing unreasonable to justify. I am completely free of any guilt on the few deals I have flipped.
I'm trying to approach you to see if you could have an open mind. I mean it is what it is we all don't have to agree here in America. I'm typing this for my own fun. I'm enjoying this. & this is a public forum. I did not PM you nor was I writing to just you. I'm thinking a few others will read this as well and ponder it a bit.
You don't know me or anyone on this thread either. We do not have to agree here, though personally I think you are the one trying to push underdeveloped views on others, being negative and righteous.

Now if I get to be righteous then this is where I am at.
Target, BestBuy, Dell or whoever has a sick clearance price is typically not a small business, that is why they can literally throw stuff away and drop prices down to peanuts for valuable items. Nearly every 'scalper' or reseller is a small business. I support folks who break away from being any kind of employee and become entrepreneurs even if just flipping online. Support small, support the little guy breaking free from the man. Plus in my experience it is genuine work and not that easy, there is no way I could do that full time. I don't even know what it would take to flip these bikes.

I did get one bike for my step son to ride, $300 and it is pretty decent, they had 4 and I would have bough 2, 1 to flip as money is tight here and I did not expect to drop the $300 but honestly it seemed awfully hard flip a bike so kudos to those who know how. It was a different one from the thread a Gotrax Approach' mountain style electric bike, down from $999 to $299. Target pulled from their site but it is this one if anyone wants to find one https://gotrax.com/products/appro...bCtvbU6xk1

Thanks, checked for LA and see a rebate of up to $2,000 depending on bike.
Has specific models that qualify, might go that route if I can't find the bike.

Have someone checking a target, hoping they find the bike on clearance.

[I've been looking for a regular commuter bike, at a good price, and planned to diy a motor to it using a clearance scooter. I already purchased the scooter a while ago, but haven't been able to find any place with a decent price. I know a buddy that works at a Target not that far from me and said he'd keep an eye out. Months later, Target is resetting their bikes (kids and adult aisles) and my buddy does one better and let's me know about several ebikes that are 70% off at the beginning of this week. He even sent me updated pictures (mobile users switch to desktop if you can't see them) later in the week showing no one has purchased any (the numbers haven't changed). It's not the type of bike (mountain) I was looking for, but begging can't be choosy and I was really deciding on the price. I took some time deciding and looking up reviews, but I eventually got the one I wanted today. I came in on Wednesday and was told that they were busy and to come back Thursday or Friday. From what I figured out, they had a truck and tons of freight in the back that they weren't thinking of me and moving pallets out of the way to get a pallet down and unwrap it to get one big ass bike box that's clearance. I'm guessing they were waiting until everything goes salvage. My friend says that their reset is officially supposed to be next week, but they have been trying to do some early. Next week the ebikes might go salvage... He doesn't know. These ebikes are supposed to be on the floor, but the security manager doesn't want them there; they might get stolen. So, some store have them built, some don't, some have them on the floor, some have them only in the backroom. It all depends on management. So, they stay in the back were no one knows they are there and no sign talking about them. I couldn't even look them up on the Target website. I had to do general Google searches for their specs and reviews. Except that retro Razor scooter/ebike thing, but that's to hideous to consider.

P.S.
My friend (who I knew before he worked at Target) doesn't want me to tell which store he works at. He's not happy with resellers purchasing all of an item (Funko, Hot Wheels/ Pokemon Cards/etc) and he has to later try to explain to old ladies that are looking for an item for their grandkid why that item is never instock. Hey, I keep my insider happy by honoring his requests. I will say, these images are from a Target in Central New Jersey (my friend is ok with this info). So, if you live in this state you should first call (if you can get through) and give them the dpci #. If they have quantities unlocated, then this store DOES have them instock in their backroom and you should haul ass on over. These are high-end items that should not be misplaced by the store. When you get there, got to Guest Service so they can look up the dpci # again and CALL a manager that frequent the backroom enough to visually look for the item. Checklane manager has no idea about the stock in the backroom. If they say they can't find it and they have quantities, then ask for any executive, except the Human Resource executive (good chance they don't know about back stock). If they still can't find it, then the security manager. They want their job and they are responsible for lost merchandise. Also, if it's a truck day, then they may or may not take the time to get it for you even if they found it in the backroom. Good luck!

I checked about 4-5 stores, none had them. Check Facebook and theirs like 8 listings for the bike….

I did see some for $400 locally, but hoping it drops lower. Scalpers usually don't bother with huge items like bikes. Might offer them $300 if they drop it off to me.

Just sucks since I really needed one.
