ehhh you can still get a streaming stick (roku, apple tv, google tv, etc) for it though but good for the heads up (streaming from plex now lol)
I bought the 50" version of this tv to replace my girl friends very old bedroom tv she had and her words were everything looks so crisp and great. I have Hisense u6 models in my bedrooms at my house and living room and think the picture quality of this tv is just as good or close enough for the price.
I have the 50" one and the picture looks pretty good on mine. Highly recommend a streaming stick like a Chromecast, but otherwise very happy.

Make sure not to buy this TV if you want to ever use the Plex App with it. https://support.plex.tv/articles/...-overview/

For $200 I doubt you'll find a better 55" tv with good picture quality. Even the speakers are pretty good. The only negatives in my opinion are the xumo tv and thicker bezel.

I bought the 43" version of this tv a couple weeks ago for $130. It's $120 now, might try to get price match, but anyway, I think it's a fine tv for the price. I think the image quality is fine though there is definitely a lot of light bleed through on "black". The sound quality is actually my biggest gripe. It's not good. I havent looked to see if there is any way to tweak it yet. It's very lightweight. I haven't used the xumo interface at all, just connected an Apple TV to it. If you have a fairly small space, aren't a tv snob, and/or looking to save some money, I think it's a good option.

Sub par hdr, only 3 hdmi inputs and 60hz. For $200 you will have a hard time finding a better deal, but you can get much better for a few hundred more. If you need a tv now and dont care about gaming, this may be a decent deal.

I got the 50" for 130 open box in the store a few months ago to wall mount as a bedroom TV.

My main TV is an OLED, so I wasn't expecting much from this but I'm very impressed for the price honestly.

I was going to get a separate streaming device for it but the built in Xumo android TV they have works fine for a bedroom and all my apps

Bought one for my little ones room, don't mind xumo as spectrum is forcing these on us now in FL vs the old school boxes. Cheapest price at this range/size. I think the next cheapest xumo is the 55in element which I saw at BJs for $249 with similar if not exact specs.

I bought my mom this 55" for $179 for her bedroom a few weeks before Xmas. She was coming from an older TCL 50". This has a better picture and much better sound. She is very happy with it. You could do a lot worse than this TV for the money.

In name only. Pioneer bailed out of the TV market ages ago. TCL makes them now.

I'm sure people with a budget of $200 are not prioritizing the best picture quality
