I bought this and it gave me a promo code under which it said "Your codes must be redeemed within 30 days"

Use the alternating technique. Year 1 you be the primary and your partner the secondary. Year 2 switch , your partner be the primary and you secondary. This way you can always get new member promos. I have been using a Free or fully rebated membership (one year even a money maker) for past 5 years now.

Dumb question - does the membership start from the day I make the purchase on stacksocial, or when I "redeem" the stacksocial thing? If later, how long can I wait? Anyone got experience?

Unfortunately, I do not know how long one can wait. A couple of things to note:

1) the process was to "redeem" on stack social which resulted in a code to be used directly on BJs website under promo code when signing up

2) when membership does start you get 12 months plus to the end of the month. Example: signing up on 2/1/2025 means one had membership until 2/28/2026

Can I buy this, save it for until after my membership expires + 2 months to be considered a new member, and renew my then-expired membership? The terms say it expires 1/31/26, but I don't know if it's safe to hold onto for several months or the start date is the purchase date, or any other issues.

BJ's warehouse are only in 21 State

29 states don't have Bj's

Can someone help, if its worth it to purchase it (since its almost free.) even when nearest BJs is 350+ miles away.

Do they deliver nationally? I seem to recall signing up for a day pass from them back when PS5s were in short supply, but I don't recall if I ever successfully placed an order. Website kind of sort of implies that they do, but just wanted confirmation that they ship to states where they might not have a presence.
