1) the process was to "redeem" on stack social which resulted in a code to be used directly on BJs website under promo code when signing up
2) when membership does start you get 12 months plus to the end of the month. Example: signing up on 2/1/2025 means one had membership until 2/28/2026

Can someone help, if its worth it to purchase it (since its almost free.) even when nearest BJs is 350+ miles away.
