However, it does take a few days to show up on your account.
I only keep the membership (I only pay $10) because the discount on gas pays for itself. They are consistently $.20-25/gallon cheaper than anyone else in our area and I pass one on the way home from work.
When they had paper coupons I abused the hell out of them - BJ's sends out a ton of mailers, like 3-4 different ones and they'd all usually have similar coupons for the same products, so I'd clip them all and just keep scanning until the SCO wouldn't take any more
I'm also a costco member and Costco has taken much of my BJ's business away - gas is comparable for the 2, BJ's is a bit more convenient, which is why I keep a membership there. BJ's also sells a good selection of GC's but costco only sells a VERY limited and often seasonal selection.

and i'm guessing i need to buy physical GC's to use at the pump?
