Got the plus membership $40 vs $20, spent the $120 on stuff I'd have bought anyway and got the $40 back in 24 hours or so to spend within 30 days or something. Will cancel and likely not shop there very often but I'll happily take the 5 cents off their already pretty cheap gas.

I don't see any code when I try to purchase membership, or is it the code inside the rectangle next to apply code? In very vague letters? I copy and paste in there, nothing happens and still asking me to pay $60 instead of changing to $0. Anyone can help?

Quick question. I ordered this on the 2nd. When do I have to redeem this? I have an active account already so I'm wondering if I can hold off on redeeming this until my current membership expires?

did you have to activate or do anything to get the $40 back? Or is it just automatic after you spend in store?

Does it show the offer of rewards after spending $120 anywhere on BJs site? I signed up using the StackSocial link but I didn't see that offer anywhere on BJs.

TAKE20 works for 20% off. Also, for Plus, get $40 reward after $120+ spend. Paid $32 for a year of plus & plan to get back $40 plus had a random $5 off in account. Sweet.

Benefits of Plus include free 2-day shipping, 2% back on spend & 5 cents more off gallon of gas, among others I'm sure.

Thanks OP!!
Worked today, Saturday. Thanks

In the past promotions like Groupon gave you a membership # that you replaced on your current "account" (ie email). Is this stack social the same way as well ie redemption code is the member number ? If not, can someone please explain what happens after purchase is completed ?

You do not get a membership number. You get a promotion code that you use to complete a new membership. That code results in a zero membership cost at bjs.com. I did the "plus membership" and after spending $120 in one transaction, a couple of days later I had $40 in rewards added to me account.

Thanks, and did this work with existing membership?

I've made a $60+ purchase in store, still haven't seen any rewards showing in my account? Anyone any experience? What should I do next?

The answer is a qualified NO. The deal is for new memberships, so you have to establish a new account. My SO and I alternate years as primary members and get the new member deal that way.

It takes a few days. If you don't get it after a few days, go on the website and chat or go to the customer service desk at your BJS with your documentation. They are usually pretty good at resolving these.

However, it does take a few days to show up on your account.

What irritates me about BJs is you have to clip their coupons. I'm a paying member, the discounts should automatically be applied. BUT there is an app you can get that will automatically clip the coupons on the website for you.

I only keep the membership (I only pay $10) because the discount on gas pays for itself. They are consistently $.20-25/gallon cheaper than anyone else in our area and I pass one on the way home from work.

When they had paper coupons I abused the hell out of them - BJ's sends out a ton of mailers, like 3-4 different ones and they'd all usually have similar coupons for the same products, so I'd clip them all and just keep scanning until the SCO wouldn't take any more laugh out loud That said, even the electronic versions typically have overlapping offers. Nature Made vitamins are one example, they have up to 6 coupons on those active at any time that you can get 1 or 2 bottles for free. When we were still buying diapers, BJ's was my go to for diapers because of the numerous coupons.

I'm also a costco member and Costco has taken much of my BJ's business away - gas is comparable for the 2, BJ's is a bit more convenient, which is why I keep a membership there. BJ's also sells a good selection of GC's but costco only sells a VERY limited and often seasonal selection.
