I was in the market for masonry bits, so I looked at HF. They have Warrior and Hercules. Are these any better, besides the name brand? Don't meant to start any rants about brands.
I wouldn't use these for wood or anything soft as listed. These are pretty much masonry/concrete drill bits.
I bought 2-3 of these drill bits to be able to drill 16 holes through tough concrete. They worked great with my regular drill. They would have done better with a hammer drill though. These bits took some real abuse; full weight down on them and they didnt break,

Red ones are for softer material and cannot do tile. I tired on tile and it ruined it. Carbide performance is much superior
I got a set of the red ones like 60 days ago. I haven't opened them yet, so could still return them. Is there any reason to own black oxide, titanium and then the red *and* white colored carbide drill bits?

These are masonry bits . Black oxide and titanium are for metals. Different uses
